Procrastination Station

Sometimes I procrastinate things. A lot. Sometimes it works out for the better but occasionally it does not.

I've been car hunting for a couple months now (feels like longer) and I thought I had found the perfect car in Colorado. I'd been communicating with the guy quite a bit and one day after work I called him again and he said a lady was interested in the car and was coming up with the money to buy it. I cried and cried. It had been a long day but the car was pretty much perfect (minus electric windows and locks but that's something that can be fixed). I was so disappointed, if only I hadnt procrastinated calling him! Fast forward a few days later and I was at the bank getting a loan but they needed to know the address and name of the person who had the title in their name. I called the guy and got some weird answers so I decided to hold off. It started to feel a little scammish and not as legit as I had thought. Funny how I was so upset because I had procrastinated and then in the end, it wasn't even meant for me to have this car.

So the hunt goes on. I know what I want and have narrowed it down to my top 3 choices. Hopefully the day to getting a different car is coming closer even though I dread getting rid of my Mazda.

Procrastination happens for me in other ways, like with blogging. Obviously there has been a lack of posts lately. I haven't had many road trips to blog about on my travel blog but that should start to change as the weather warms up. I have been doing some crafts and have taken pictures but have yet to post them on my craft blog. I have written some reviews about awesome products and services but need to get them scheduled. There is no good reason for procrastinating on these projects except laziness. I think that is what it boils down to.  I did get one post up tonight though about a photo shoot I did a few weeks ago!

This weekend was a busy one. I had to go in to work for a couple hours and then I picked up Tony for family movie day at the Water Gardens theater in Holladay and we saw Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2. So funny! Then we went and did a bunch of errands...Costco, DI, 2 Walmarts and Home Depot (trying to get an extra key made for my car) and finally to Zupas for lunch with a coworker and her family.  In the evening I did some shopping with my sister and eventually made it back home to Tony by 10pm. I was so tired I didnt even open my laptop to blog. Lamesauce.

Sunday was busy but not as crazy busy as the previous day. I did get some new buttons and banners made for my blogs. But really I should not be getting distracted by things like that or responding to emails or entering blog contests. I have pictures stacking up to blog about!

What kinds of things do you procrastinate?

(dont worry, I procrastinate things other than blogging!)
