September Hi & Bye!

I am not sure what happened to the month of September but luckily I have my calendar to help me out. Time goes so fast, like..all year! Every year the past few years. Like clockwork. Here's what I blogged about in September!   The beginning of the month started the journey of quite a trip! First, we drove up to Idaho (such a long drive!) for Tony's family reunion . The drive was made extra long by the fact there was a fire so we had to take a detour. It added an extra hour or so to the drive which was not very fun but we saw cool things along the way that we would not have seen otherwise. His mom and I went to Boise to see the hot air balloons . So worth it! One of my favorite things to do is visit different hot springs and there was a fun one we went to, not really near our campsite but not too bad of a drive (minus the windy roads).   Spent some time in Meridian where my parents live, after the reunion. Next it was on to Portland! I have not gotten to ...

NaBloPoMo Day 25

Oh gosh, I dont know how this thing works I guess - am I allowed to schedule posts or do I have to actually get on and post each and every day? Now its the 29th and I am back dating to the 25th. It's hard to blog when you are traveling and have a different daily schedule. I'll talk to you all about my Black Friday shopping! Are you a BF shopper? I have been for years and years. It all began when one BF my mom got me and my sister up and we went to JoAnn's at 6am. My sister and I kept things going and I remember going to JCP to stand in line and get a little snow globe for being one of the first 50 people in line or whatever the deal was. When I was an LDS missionary in Portland, missing Black Friday was the worst! I was so upset/bummed/sad, especially because we got the ads in the mail and I'd look and see what the best deals were yet was not allowed to go buy anything. P-Day never fell on Black Friday ;-) When I moved back to CA, my family moved to ID a month later an...

So Call Me Crazy!

How many of you feel like it was a whirlwind of a summer? Inbetween working full time, 2 classes at LDSBC, homework, roadtrips and my husband's summer internship, I can't believe the long warm days of summer are over. Tear. I heart summer.  Here are some links to what's been going on so you can catch up! I got to go to the Mystery Escape Room at the Gateway mall in SLC. Does your city have one of these? It was a pretty fun experience! There was a hot air balloon event every weekend in June, so crazy fun! I loved all the roadtrips and visiting some of my favorite small towns in Utah. We volunteered at an event in Springville which we had never gone to before. There were not a whole lot of blogger events this summer but I did go to one at The Roll Up in Orem which has crepes - one of my favorite foods! Tony & I had a fun little trip to Idaho for his nephew who got baptized plus we got to see family and hang out for a few days. That's always nice!...

Thanksgiving in Idaho

I just got back from an awesome time in Idaho for Thanksgiving with my family and Tony's family. We left late Wednesday night after I took forever to pack, then we met up with Laura & Rocky at In N Out for dinner and then we were on our way to Boise. Tony drove the whole way which was surprising because usually the last hour or two he gets tired and I take over. It was nice to finally get to my parents house and go to bed. Thanksgiving Day, I was a little sad to have missed the parade on TV. For some reason my brothers always manage to find a football game to watch instead. It seemed like not much time passed at all and we were sitting down to eat. I took pictures and made a Vine video of all that but it will be posted soon so I will be sure to link to it here. Tony and I didnt head out to do black Friday shopping until about 8pm and we were able to get everything his mom wanted us to get for her at Target. Win! We spent 2 hours in line at Kohls - fail - but we got so...
