Arizona Living and Homie!

I lived in Arizona for 3-1/2 years and it was such a blast. I was in my early 20's, became super involved with other young adults my age, went on lots of outdoor adventures and learned a lot about myself while making new friends. Despite the fun times, it definitely didn't start out fun or easy.

I was able to get a good deal on a house to rent but trying to find roommates to fill the other 2 rooms proved difficult. I could write stories about that! I moved to Arizona without a job in 2008 and it felt like it took forever to find the right fit or even any interest from employers at all. Despite that, I ended up at a couple great companies (one turned in to more seasonal) and I was even happier when my cousin and his family moved to Arizona so I actually had some family in the same state as me.

Have you looked around at houses for sale lately in Arizona? Have you noticed any with a Homie sign in the yard? Homie is a great way to buy and sell your home - without needing a realtor! They are tech-enabled real estate brokers in Utah and Arizona.  It's a flat fee of $1500 to list your home with them and on the buy side, Homie refunds up to $5000 at closing.  No need to pay a 6% commission any longer.

What would you do with an extra $5000? I could think of quite a few things! Some people use the money to go on vacation, get out of debt, have a baby...leave me a comment with your ideas!
