Birthday Deals 2022

 This was the oddest birthday deal year yet! Keep reading to find out why....

SO! Much to my dismay, I'd "fallen off" many of the lists I've been on for years for birthday deals. Waffle Love, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Old Spaghetti Factory and CVS to name a few.  Also Yogurtland and Rita's Italian Ice (which I was never able to fix sadly). Some just didn't even send me birthday deals at all, like Deseret Book, Earl of Sandwich, R&R BBQ and Subway. Did I fall off of their list too? So...make a note to yourself to log in or check the restaurants you really want birthday deals for to make sure that you didn't get removed from their list as well. 

Now, let's get going on the birthday deal emails I got and if I got the chance to redeem :)

Archibald's Restaurant - in Utah and yes. They sent me a buy 1 meal get 1 free.

American Eagle - 15% off

1000 Degrees Pizza - free 11" pizza. I did redeem this and tried the mac and cheese pizza which was actually really delicious!

Adidas - sent me a 15% off coupon.

Albertsons - 2x the reward points

Artzea - 250 club points

Bambu - 20% off entire order

Baskin Robbins - free kids size scoop or 3 oz. swirl of soft serve

Big 5 - 15% off a purchase

Black Bear Diner - a free Bear's Choice Breakfast Entree

Bubbies Ice Cream - buy a box, get one free (It's a coupon you print and mine is good from July - Oct)

Built Bar - 100 Built Bucks which seems to only equal $5 off a purchase and is not as good as a birthday rewards as it was last year

Cafe Rio - a free $5 which I used towards a "snack" of chips and queso. This snack actually lasted me for a few days. The queso held out longer than the chips did actually.

Chick-Fil-A - free brownie or cookie. I chose the brownie.

Chili's - free dessert

Chipotle - free chips and guac or salsa or queso blanco. I did redeem this and tried the queso.

Cinnabon - free coffee

Corner Bakery Cafe - free sweet

Cricut - 10% off and free shipping!

Crumbl - free cookie! I for sure used this one.

Culvers - free 1 scoop sundae

Dunkin Donuts - free beverage, any size

Denny's - free Triple Grand Slam. I did redeem this in Ridgecrest, CA and then was told they couldn't honor it. No real reason why. They did honor it in the end but next year I'll need to remember to use this one out of town I guess. Wow...

Dippin Dots - free cup of Dots - redeemed at the state fair in Sacramento!

Dream Dinners - 10 birthday dinner dollars. I am so bummed I didn't get to redeem this one.

Edible Arrangements - free 12 piece box of chocolate dipped fruit

Einstein Bagels - free ham & cheese birthday bagel sandwich

Elmer's Restaurant - birthday German pancake

Enterprise - 250 bonus points

Ethel M. Chocolates - $5 off a box of custom chocolates

Fetch Rewards - free magazine subscription

Fire and Ice - free meal, 1 per table.

Flake Pie Co - $5 off

Fuddruckers - free 1/3 lb. burger

Godiva - free $10 to spend online in your birthday month

Hard Rock Cafe - buy 1 entree, get 1 free

IHOP - 5 Pancoins

IKEA - $10 off a purchase and a free frozen yogurt

Johnny Rockets - free burger with purchase of an entree and a drink or shake

Kodiak - free box of birthday cake power cakes with next purchase

Kono's and the Surfing Pig - free dessert or milkshake

Lazy Dog - free dessert or starter. I picked a starter this time, the Street Corn Fries. Pretty delicious combination.

Marie Callender's - $5 off a meal and 2 slices of pie. Funny story..I went to redeem this in SLC and the coupon was not loading and not loading. The guy taking my order (take-out only) said I only got $5 off my meal. Mentioned nothing about the pie. Shame on him.

Marvy Uchida - 40% off a purchase of $20 or more. I did not use this this year.

Mimi's Cafe - a free Mixed Berry Muffin Sundae. Sadly I didn't make the time to use this one.

Nothing Bundt Cakes - free bundlet. Which I did end up getting in the end after scrambling to sign back up on their email list. A guy that had been behind me in line, was saying he didn't get his birthday deal either and he'd been coming in for the past few years...hm. Sus. I'm not the only one that disappeared off the email list it seems.

Noodles & Co. - free dessert, delivery or side. I chose a dessert, the rice Krispie treat.    

Old Spaghetti Factory - free pasta classic. I did redeem this at one of the Sacramento, CA locations.

Olive Garden - free appetizer or dessert with the purchase of an adult dinner entree.

Pink Nation - 25% off a purchase.

Piper & Scoot - 15% off my purchase.

Pita Fresh - 50% off my meal.

Plato's Closet - $5 off a $10 purchase. I was able to get in and use this!

Pura Vida - 25 Bonus Shore Dollars.

Raley's Grocery Store - mega disappointed with myself. I could have gone to get this and kept putting it off and then I forgot :( It was for a free cake mix, free Hallmark birthday card and a cupcake from their bakery.

R&R BBQ - I did not get anything specifically saying birthday deal but I did get some kind of discount in the app from them. I asked the girl at the register what was up when I went in and she didn't know but let me pick a free dessert.

Rita's Italian Ice - my account is messed up in the app and I was unable to fix it. It should not have gotten messed up. I haven't had a problem with it, ever.

Savers - 20% off coupon loaded to my account. Good until the end of the month.

Sprinkles - free birthday cupcake. I never got an email from them and just had to dig it out of my memory bank. Sadly, I was unable to find a location near anywhere I was at in July, to redeem this. I tried in August but it was just a bit too much outside of the window of my birthday for the girl to be able to make it work for me but at least she double-checked with a manager. Better luck next year.

Starbucks - free drink. I got the pink drink ~ probably my favorite.

TCBY - the first 3 ounces are free

The North Face - 10% off my online purchase

Tom's Shoes - 15% off my order

Tucanos - buy a meal, get one free. I always redeem this one. The experience at the SLC, Utah location was certainly more miss than hit but at least we left with satisfied stomachs.

Ulta - free mascara because I redeemed in store. Online redemption was for an eyeliner.

Vans - 250 bonus points.

Waffle Love - free red velvet waffle but since I fell off their email list and wasn't able to get back on in time, I was unable to redeem. I probably could have gone in on July 10th and asked for it but it was such a hot hot day that I wasn't really up to it this time. Bummer.
